Walk To School

If everyone walked to and from school, the world would be a better place. Walking should not be a chore that you do every day, it should be something that you look forward to.

Play a game with your friends, or family while walking, and even if you are walking to school alone, then observe things that are around you, and thank mother nature for the beautiful world that she has given us to live in. If you feel like you want to walk to school, and learn more about how walking to school can benefit you, read more.

14.3% of Canada’s population is obese. This graph shows the % of obese people in other countries.

Another thing that would be good if everyone walked to school, is that the pollution would decrease, because there are less cars, and less cars means less people getting late, because it will not be jam packed in the morning.

When we walk to school, not only are we benefiting our selves, but we are saving our surroundings.

We need to consider the Earth just like us(human). Think of it like this:

When we walk it is like we are making the Earth, but when we use cars, we are leaving dark, deep black marks on the Earth’s face. Just picture it.

A poet once wrote, “Only when the last tree has died, and the last river has been poisoned, and the last fish has been caught, will we then realize that we cannot eat money,” These touching words were there to say that the environment is much more important then money.
